How to Work with Me

Upon contacting me you will be asked to complete a basic questionnaire on the training problems that you’re having with your dog. If you pass this stage then I will contact you to arrange a time and date for your first session.

Telephone Consultations (£37 for 30 minutes) – I will call you at a pre-arranged time to discuss the problems you’re having with your dog. A training plan will be put in place and sent to you in an email after the session. Follow-up sessions can be booked depending on the severity of the problem.

One to One Sessions (£80 for a single one hour session, £240 for four sessions) – Your first session will usually take place at your home (unless otherwise arranged). From there I can assess your dog and show you how to resolve the problems that you’re having. If you’ve ever read any of my content you will know I’m hugely passionate about dogs. I am not a trainer that will drink tea for two hours and post you an essay full of buzzwords.

If you want someone to show you the answers to the problems you’re having then get in touch. Once you’re on board I’m just as committed as you are to making sure we turn things around so you can go from chasing after your dog to looking like a pro in the park.

Testimonials:

We got in touch with Nick to help us train our two year-old rescue border collie. He is our first dog and a very challenging one at that. From the very beginning Nick was very patient and involved, listening to all our concerns, and encouraging us to continue to work on our dog’s training. He gave us clear, specific, and useful advice, steered us through the training with no judgement, and was always keen to hear news of how our dog was doing in between sessions, and help us over text or email. We can honestly say that if it wasn’t for Nick’s help and support we may not have persevered. We now have a very well-behaved dog, and couldn’t be happier. We’d recommend Nick without hesitation, as he was such great help to us -and our dog loves him too. We’d also recommend his email newsletter, as it always offers useful, relevant advice, and funny anecdotes of living with and training dogs – Regina H

My girl has loved the tracking and scenting work we’ve done with Nick, it’s a real joy to see her get so excited and engage with it. Nick is a fantastic trainer, he breaks things down and explains them in a way that’s easy to digest and fun to do. I’ve really appreciated how he’s helped me develop a better bond with my girl and I can’t wait to book in our next lot of training so we can learn even more. – Clare Garner

Thank you so much for all your help and guidance with our puppy, Nel. She’s a changed dog and we now feel comfortable taking her for walks on and off the lead!!  – Julie Marks

When I first contacted Bark Play Teach, I was desperate for help with my four month old Doberman. One session with Nick helped tremendously and we now have a dog we can control! We now use Bark Play Teach for dog walking every day and would thoroughly recommend it. My dog will now stand at the door excitedly waiting for his walk. Nick is very dependable and trustworthy and has a natural affection for animals – give them a try and you wont regret it. – Lea Reilly
